It has quite a smell so I recommend airing it out before putting your pet in it. It gives a lot of space to the car; mine is a Renault Captur and it fits almost perfectly, with just a little bit of space in the grille area. It's firm but not too hard like a board; it's made of three hard cardboard-like boards, but I think it's enough for my 30-kilogram dog. It also comes with a strap to secure the dog to the seatbelt. It took a week time to arrive, but I think it's a good purchase.
